The xx are releasing their brand new album Coexist on September 10, but their dream is to work with superstar Beyonce. Bassist and swoon-inducer singer Oliver Sim recently opened up about his love and admiration for Bey. '"I saw her at Glastonbury [festival] and I may have shed a tear. Writing a song for her, that's the dream," he told Q magazine.
Oliver is so star struck by the singer that he even compared her status to the late King of Pop. ''Beyonce is very special. I think she's important. I think the super-pop thing that supposedly died with Michael Jackson is still there, with her.''
As crazy as it may seem, Oliver's dream may come true because The xx have already enjoyed a cozy time with one of the most powerful couples in music, except he couldn't quite express his feelings to her. ''We all went for dinner. There may have been a husband of hers there. I always had a lot of things I wanted to say to her and I completely choked.,' he finished.
