Our prediction from last year has come true: The Governors Ball's back and bigger than ever!
The NYC festival's 3rd year features an extra day of music magic, making three great (hopefully sunny) days of music at Randalls Island. Who's hitting the stage this year? Huge names like Kanye West and Kings of Leon will headline two dates, while the third headliner still remains a mystery.
Once again, the roster could use more Latino flavor, electronica vets Thievery Corporation and R&B crooner Miguel are an okay start. Omar Rodriguez-Lopez's new band Bosnian Rainbows, NYC faves Los Amigos Invisibles and even Gustavo Santaolalla's supergroup Bajofondo would have been refreshing to see.
