Justin Bieber recorded the song "Bigger" for his debut album My Love, without knowing the lyrics were inspired by a gay love affair, songwriter Frank Ocean once had. ''Four summers ago, I met somebody. I was 19 years old. He was too. We spent that summer, and the summer after, together. It was hopeless,'' he wrote on his blog, explaining the track.
"Now, the bullies in the school yard / Can't take our hugs and our kisses from us / Because, we ain't push overs no more, baby," is one particularly strong line from the track, which sugarcoats the struggle due to Bieber's sweet vocals.
