Singer-songwriter Fonseca, is one of our favorite artists in the Latin music scene. His music is undoubtedly full of ease, but often times, a piece of art that creates that feeling was birthed from serious, arduous work. Fonseca, is just that type of artist, a magician of flow and illusion or Ilusión, the name of his latest album, which has already gone platinum and reached the Tropical charts.

During a very special performance from our studios in Miami, Fonseca showcased eight of his most iconic tracks, a setlist that would please his biggest fan or serve as a perfect introduction to his beautiful concoction of Colombian folk. Hosts VJ Mauri and Daniela Di Giacomo kicked off the show with questions from fans from all over the world. No subject was off limists for the poised musician who confessed, he doesn't sing in the shower --but his daughter does-- and that fatherhood is one of his biggest sources of inspiration right now. Regarding what he is excited about at the moment, said is this brand new album he put out. Another rather curious bit of info was his anecdote when asked "whats the craziest thing s fan has done for you?" It turns out a couple from Holland has followed him on the road to places like Dallas, Milan and London. "They are like personal friends now," he gushed about the dedicated travelers.
Plus, we cracked him up by showing photos of a new possible career path he could take as a movie star, we turned Fonseca into an Hulk, Shrek and even an Avatar character. However, during the show Fonseca turned his focus completely to the music, and we got lost in his stories in "Paraíso," "Hace Tiempo," "Arroyito," and more.
The show wrapped up with the most voted song on social media by his fans, "Eres Mi Sueño," from his new album.
