During the closing ceremonies of the Olympics the singer was Tweeting with excitement what she saw on television.
"The most emotional moment with the appearance of Elton John and his song Imagine! We will always remember him!!!" Fanny Lu tweeted.
Did Fanny miss all the commotion between Elton and Madonna? He is very well alive Fanny! He is still with us.
It was obvious that Ms. Lu meant to say John Lennon and she quickly tried to correct her error, "john lennon!! wow! My mistake!!!"
For the poor Colombian singer it was too little too late. Her message was retweeted thousands of times and she became a trending topic last night.
"Calm down guys... I know who John Lennon and Elton John are! It was a mistake!
She took all the backlash quite well though, "Well, I'll leave you guys! Thanks for being on top of the things that I say, even my mistakes! I had a great time and we were a trend! #Imagine."
