By mere speculation we can already tell the first incarnation of this song was not a hit amongst music lovers. An acoustic version of the same song has been released and it doesn't sound that much different.
We love Rihanna, but we don't think she was a good fit with Coldplay. If they would have eliminated her part from the song, it most likely would've been a much better track.
