Justin Bieber's biggest fan died from brain cancer on Wednesday.
Avalanna Routh,6, also affectionately known as "Ms. Bieber" was not only famous for her adoration of Biebs but her courage while dealing with a rare and incurable cancer called AT/RT.
“Our darling Avalanna went to Heaven this morning,” her family tweeted. “Oh Avalanna, the brightest star — you took our hearts with you, our greatest love.”
The Canadian pop singer took to Twitter as well when he found out the news: "Just got the worst news ever," Bieber tweeted in reaction to her death. "One of the greatest spirits I have ever known is gone. Please pray for her family and for her." He called Avalanna "my angel" and added "RIP Avalanna, I love you."
The young girl became known nationwide when her family started a campaign, “Get Avalanna to Meet Justin Bieber,” over Facebook and Twitter using the hastag #MrsBeiber. After the singer caught wind of the movement, he obliged and she received the best gift any Beiber fan could get: A date with the teen heartthrob.
